I found my dress early March for my Sep 2020 wedding. It arrived early April however we

What's the best way to store my dress and veil? Currently it's in a dress bag but should I store differently?

My dress is in a dress bag! They lady we got it from said to keep it in the bag hanging up until the wedding day. I brought my dress home in February and get married in November

I picked mine up early March for October wedding. I just left it in the dress bag in a closet that nobody is really in and out of very often (guest room).

As long as it is a garment bag and not a plastic bag, it should be just fine.

Hi Rosa! There are a few "golden rules" for storing your wedding dress, but first and foremost you should reach out to the bridal salon or designer you purchased your dress from and ask them for specific care instructions.

Top Dress Storage Tips:
1) Keep your dress in a dark and dry spot (no direct light!)
2) Store in a breathable cloth bag (not plastic!)
3) Use hanger straps if provided!
4) If there's heavy beading, consider folding your bridal gown and storing it flat. When you hang dresses with lots of beading the fabric can stretch out of shape!
