There are guides and charts and articles all over the place, but just like with other clothing, you really have to try it on.

I would just try them on and see for yourself. I never thought about a style like my dress but when I tried it on, I loved it!

Go try on what you like such as a mermaid trumpet style dress but be open to try other styles. Liking a silhouette in pictures and so forth is one thing. It's another to see yourself in them. I thought I wanted an A line dress or a sheath dress and with sleeves. But I really liked how strapless and ballgown dresses looked on me. I decided on a sleeveless ballgown.

I would still go try some on. Mermaids can even fit differently depending on where the fit/flare hits you.

Curvy brides can definitely wear mermaids! Best on evenly curvy figures.

Try them on, you won't know until you do. I didn't think I could wear a strapless dress because of my weight, I am able to and I got my dress.
