Dress Shopping

Dont be anxious - sometimes all it takes is one day and one dress! As long as you have a very clear vision of how you want to look on your day and what type of dress you want it’ll make it that much easier to find when the stores finally do reopen! So use this time to research everything, print pics out and be armed and ready for when the store doors open. (That’s what I’m doing ).

Humm would you try a wedding dress on at home ? I know some brides have ordered online try on and send back ! Just an idea but I wouldn’t be nervous ! It took one day one store for me to find my dress. Go in with a plan and you’ll get it !

I saw that some bridal salons in Northern VA are doing "virtual appointments", via video chat. Then once you have narrowed down your options to three dresses, you can pick them up and try them at home. Maybe look into that.

I recently got engaged, and I have ordered a few wedding dresses online. I sent back the ones I didn't like.

I live in the DMV area as well. The bridal salon I ordered from, Elegance by Roya, are doing virtual fittings. A representative will show you dresses via video. You can then pick up three dresses to try on at a time. They have two locations, one in Old Town, VA and the other is in Tyson's Corner.
