Dress shopping

Try to wear shoes similar to the shoes you want to wear on your wedding day. Have fun! Don’t settle!

Take picture(s) of your inspiration. Be honest with yourself and your consultant about what you like and dont like about the dresses you try on they are there to help you! Dont worry if you dont find THE dress tonight, there are other days and places and dresses to try on at a later date. Good luck!

Go in with an open mind and no expectations. Bring some inspiration but also be open to other silhouettes and necklines. What I thought I'd like ended up being meh and my dress was ultimately not something I thought I could pull off but actually looked great and made me feel beautiful. Use the 1st appointment to get a feel for different types of dresses and don't feel like you need to find THE dress on your 1st trip. Finding out what you don't like is just as important as finding out what you do like.

Have fun! and wear shapewear. If you don't have shapewear, wear control top hosiery. It helps.

Wear something easy to take on and off! The dresses themselves can be quite tiring to get into so don't make it harder on yourself with something you have to do 50 million buttons up on or whatever, haha!
