I am getting married March 27th 2021 when should I start looking for my dress, also want to lose about 30 pounds before the wedding.

I would go at least a year out. We got mine with 7 months to go but that leaves me only one chance to get Alterations right. I have heard that most brides have about 3 alteration sessions before the dress is final.

Truthfully I would wait maybe about 8 months out pending if you may need alterations and what not. I bought mine about a year out and I still love it but sometimes I think I may buy another dress lol. Dress regret can happen but I have heard 8-10 months out pending arrival of the dress and alterations.

I would start your workout & diet process now so the weight is easier to lose over the next year and a half, but I would hold off looking for dresses Until April 2020.
