One year out should be plenty of time, even with the pandemic. To be sure though, I would double check with your bridal consultant that all dresses you try on will be ready at least 2 mos before your wedding - this allows plenty of time for alterations, and gives you a little buffer in case it runs a couple weeks late

I think one year out should be fine! I suggest spending time to look at dress styles online between now and when you are going shopping, just so you have an idea of things you'd like to try on once you get there. Happy dress shopping!

Thanks all! I was nervous because I see other brides with similar dates who already have their dresses. I will definitely make sure and talk with the consultant!

That’s what happened to me- I ordered my dress assuming I would be married November 2020, but right after ordering it the pandemic hit. Now I will be sitting on my dress for over a year before I can use it.

One year should be more than plenty of time. I started 8 months out at the onset of Covid.

1 year out is enough time. They typically suggest you order 10 months out.
