Dress Shopping & Videos

Hi Chelleigh me personally I think that it will be to overwhelming for you to have all those ppl giving you opinions on. What you dress will be because it ago go great or it can go really really bad. Plus they can stir you in a whole different direction that you may concern or dont want to go. And then you feel to frustrated and then they may not like your style so just choose a few meaning like 3 or 4 people who really want with you making that important decision. And whatever you decide or fall in love with have fun doing it and it's what you want. Happy dress shopping my dear

I feel that may be a lot of people giving opinions. I only went with my mother, my sister who is my MOH and my one bridesmaid and that was plenty lol

Showiing them the dress after the fact , via webcam, is a better idea since 1 person can make you second guessing even if you think you found the one.

Hopefully your future MIL and the one bridesmaid won't try to push you to buy the dress theyr'll love the most over the one you will, especially the fture MIL. This is the thing that would concern me, not the fact of including other virtually. Those who can make it in-person will understand, I would me.extremely surprised, should they throw a fit over not being included virtually.

As others have said, adding a bunch of people virtually plus a few in person seems like too many to me. I just went dress shopping two weeks ago with four people, and while they were all very supportive it’s still a lot of talking and opinions going on!


I think you might be best served by going with those who can attend in person. Then if you find two dresses you’re deciding on, maybe you can show others virtually, but either way make sure you stick to your gut! My mother and cousin had basically talked themselves into love with a dress I tried the first day, but I knew it wasn’t for me, and the next day I found the one. Good luck!

I went twice. Once in my home state with my stepmom, sister and moh. They took pics and videos and I sent them afterwards to my other bridesmaids and future MIL. Then the second time I went with my future MIL and future SIL and found the one, but same thing, I sent pics and videos of all the dresses after the fact. I let people weigh in and then told them which one I chose. I think if I had live streamed either of those times, it would have been too overwhelming with the number of opinions and people would inevitably talk over each other with a stream delay
