Dress shopping outfit

You can wear whatever you want it's not like you're staying dressed in those clothes to try on dresses anyway, you're just going to take them off. Though, if you have shapewear or shoes you're planning to wear with your dress, I'd at least bring those.

You can wear whatever you'd like! You certainly don't have to wear white if you don't want to. Like Brittany said, if you have your shoes picked out already, bring those with. It's also totally OK if you haven't decided on shoes yet. Otherwise, just wear something comfortable and that is easy to change in/out of.

No need to wear white! I’d recommend wearing whatever is comfortable and easy to slip on and off since you’ll be changing for dress shopping.


I also recommend just wearing those “stickies” or “pasties” instead of a full bra because a full bra will get in the way physically and also with the look when you walk up to the mirrors (some dresses are backless or have sheer panels, etc.). Pick your dress, then after that you can figure out what bra/underwear situation will be best for you and your particular dress.

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. The “bride wears white to everything pre-wedding” is a new trend that many do not follow. It’s very common to see brides walk into a salon with a colored top with jeans.

Everyone has good advice with stickies, but if also throw in nude seamless panties. Some dresses can be thin, even with their built in lining/slip. It can take away from the full image to see panty lines, or a pop of pink. Even white panties can and will show up brightly under some dresses!

Honestly just wear comfortable underwear and shoes you can slip off easily. Maybe shape wear and a hair clip or hair tie

If this is a thing, I missed the memo lol. I wore a Pink Floyd shirt and leggings when I got my dress! I also recommend shoes that you can slip on and off easy, like Hey Dudes if you have them.
