Dress shopping hairstyle

Sarah, on January 7, 2020 at 1:52 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 8
So I am going dress shopping in a couple of weeks. I just cut my hair and now I don’t know how I want to style it for when I am trying on dresses. It will be longer for the wedding.Dress shopping hairstyle 1

I would just leave it the way it is or pull it up in a ponytail if you can! Dress shopping gets hot and tiring real fast, definitely not the time to worry about having a fancy hairstyle Smiley winking

I would leave it but bring something so that you can put it up in case you want to try on a veil and see how everything looks together😊

I had this whole plan to wear heels and a cute romper, do my hair & makeup, wear cute jewelry, etc. for my dress appointments. I went to the third dress salon after a work conference with my mom, so I was in a cowboy boots, wrangler jeans, and a flannel (I'm in agriculture so this is normal attire for work). I had no makeup on & my hair was in a scrunchy. I wasn't even wearing my real ring, I had a silicone one on. I found my dress & the rest didn't matter. So I would just wear it as is!

Exactly this! You will be sweaty and exhausted and care less what your hair looks like. Maybe bring a brush, cute hair clip and some dry shampoo or something with you if you wanna "freshen up" for pictures but other than that, I would definitely suggest going comfy.

Maybe do half up half down Smiley smile but bring a hair tie so you can throw it in a pony or a bun!

Love it as is, because it's short and shouldn't cause much fuss when trying on dresses! If it helps, have a hair tie or some bobby pins on hand in case you want to pull half up or get the front out of your face, etc.

It's one of those things where I get so torn because you want to look nice when you're trying on dresses (and snapping pictures lol) but after trying on a few you don't want to be focusing on not smudging lipstick on the dress or getting your hair caught in a zipper!

You definitely don't need to Smiley smile I swiped on a little mascara before going to try on dresses, but that's normal to my every day routine! I've had a few girlfriends who tried to really dress up for the appointments and said it was just plain annoying lol
