Dress regret

I went to Kleinfeld last week and said yes to a dress only because everyone cried and said it was the one. I liked it but I made the mistake of pleasing everyone else and not myself. No one liked the dress I was in love with. I told my mom and after looking at the pictures in me in it, I have the worst fake smile in the world and she feels bad because she was in the moment with everyone else and didn’t realize. Needless to say, I’m going back to Kleinfeld next week and changing my order to get the dress that I want!

    That's good Smiley smile do what you want because regardless you're the one wearing it and you need to feel confident and comfortable and good in what you're in

    I’m sorry you had that experience! Are you sure you’ll be able to change the order? I didn’t go to kleinfeld but I’ve never seen a bridal store allow you to change an order besides David’s Bridal.

    Yes! I called them the next day and I told them I was unsure and was between two dresses so they said we’ll hold the order and deposit I put down and put it towards the other dress. Best part is I don’t even need an appointment, they said I can just walk in to try on those two.

    Glad you're getting the dress you love, you're the one who is wearing it! I'm sure you'll look beautiful and no one will even remember the other dress by the time your wedding comes and they see you all done up! At my first appointment I had my cousin, mom, best friend, FH's aunt, and my daughter, and they all loved one of the dresses that my daughter picked and was WAY out of budget. It was definitely harder with so many people weighing in and I can totally understand because if my mom started crying I probably would!

    My mom cried and I didn’t even shed a tear! It was my mom, aunt, FMIL and FSIL. I came out and they all started crying and I’m like crap I don’t feel like it.

    The first is their choice. The second is mine. I even sent them to my bridesmaids and they all like the second better also.

    Trust your gut! But I agree. The second dress is way more flattering, youthful, and detailed. The first is pretty but it comes down to how you feel in it. And I think your smile says it all.

    You we're right. The second dress is better. I wouldn't even mention it to them that you're changing it to the first dress. I would just let them see on the wedding day
