Dress regret??

Thats a beautiful dress and yes I had dress regret because I really just wanted to get shopping over with so I bought something that I thought was pretty for the sake of getting out of the store.

I went back the next day with my mom and tried on 3 more dresses and ended up cancelling the first order and getting a new dress. I am happy with my decision now, though there are a TON of dresses that I think are gorgeous and I would've loved to try, I really couldn't afford anything more than what I bought.

You have to be happy with your decision. If that dress made you feel happy and beautiful, that's the one.

I'd go back and try it on one more time. If you're not really sure you need to see yourself in it again to make double sure. Have you tried other styles that might surprise you? Either way, only you can make that decision but maybe you need to see it on yourself again.

Can you wear a slip underneath to poof it out more? My dress is a sheath, and I bought a slip for that same reason, but I also bought a tulle over-skirt for our church ceremony as well.

Have you though about trying a peticoat to give it the poof you want? They make them specifically for each type of dress!

I have super bad dress regret, but I am too far in the process to return it plus my mom bought it for me (the one thing they [her and my dad] are contributing to the wedding), so I understand the feeling...

Dress regret is nothing out of the ordinary. You're not alone I picked my dress in my very first appointment, nearly a year ahead of time. And of COURSE I had moments where I was thinking "oh my god, what if there's something BETTER out there?" or "what if the style of the wedding morphs into something different the more I plan" or a billion other what if questions. I fought the urge to even browse other dresses online for nearly a full year, and in the end, the day of my wedding, as soon as I put that dress on, I was 100% confident I chose the right one. It was MY dress, there was no doubt.

Trust your gut - if you chose it once and you felt confident, you probably chose the ONE. And from the looks of it - the one you chose is gorgeous!

I have only looked at pictures online of dresses and I have a general sense of what I want but when I go I feel like I am gonna be all over the place and not be able to decide in fear that there is something better at a different store even if I've gone to more than one store already.

I think it is a beautiful dress. I could see where you say it does not flare enough, although the model is standing in a weird way to truly tell. I hope you figure it out!! Definitely do not want to regret the one you chose!

I had complete dress regret and went back and got a dress I loved and was really more my style. I could not be happier & after the fact when I showed H my before dress his exact words were "I am glad you changed, the first one is NOT you".

I would say go back and try on others, if not for anything, but to allow yourself to fall in love with your choice all over again.

Also, stop looking at wedding dresses. Once you do go back and try on more.
