Dress Regret

Kassandra, on February 24, 2020 at 5:45 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 9

I’m having a bit of dress regret and need some reassurance - the dress hasn’t been altered yet and I am going to be adding a belt! Maybe once I see it 100% fitted and with a belt, I’ll feel better 🙃

It’s beautiful on you and I do think a belt would add to it

I think it’s so beautiful! You look stunning. But I think that adding a belt and having alterations will help for sure. Have you tried it on with a veil? That helped me feel more like a bride trying on my dress!
(And I totally understand the feeling of dress regret. I was going through it recently, but am now really excited about my dress all over again!)

    Hi Kassandra,
Your dress is gorgeous! I think a belt would look great with that dress, I think many of us would be brides have a degree of dress regret, I have a year to go, but I've had my dress for 5 months already, and I still look at my runner up dress once or twice a month thinking I made the wrong choice.Dress Regret 3

Your dress is STUNNING! Like the PPs have said, I think once you're all accesorized, you'll feel even more like a beautiful bride. Are you going to wear a veil? I highly recommend them. I couldn't find a dress until someone put a veil on me, then it was instant lol

We are dress twins! I added a slim jewel belt to mine to give it that extra little sparkle. My consultant also put a veil with the same jeweled detail around the edges on me to show the effect of the small touches of bling and it honestly changed the dress for me. I think once everything is put together you might feel better about it all.

No belt. It would take away from the ruching, which is so nice, and instead of noticing that and the curve of your body line, it would look chopped up. If you want a little sparkle, either have a nice design sew on ( not glue) in crystal or pearl beading along the top and center of the sweetheart neckline, or a light random scattering on just the bodice, or the whole dress.

I have that dress and absolutely love it!!! I put a belt I bought from Amazon right under my bust to make me look like I have a shape.
