I bought this dress, and I know dress regret and second thoughts are a fairly common thing but I’m really struggling with some things I realized I wanted in the back, after purchasing. I did include a photo of the front of my dress as well as I am actually really happy with the front. One issue is that after purchasing, I realized I wish I’d gone with a longer train. Is there anything that can be done with this dress? It was a sample, so ordering more material from the designer is not likely, and I don’t see much material we can borrow to add to it. Has anyone had experience with adding length to a lace sweep train?
The other issue I’m having is with the shapelessness/ or rather big globby shape of my back side in this dress lol. Does anyone know if it’s just that it’s too tight or the train needs to be moved up, and if that’s fixable, or if there’s anything happening in the dress in the 3rd pic (not the one I purchased but I loved the back!) that can possibly be done with my dress? A deeper V cut in the lower back, or pulling the material up and off me at the start of the train more? Different lace placement under the butt? Would buttons be able to make much of a difference?
