I am going through the same thing! I am going with red, my mother is against it and they say it’s not a wedding of it’s not white. It’s OUR day so what YOU want! It’s gorgeous by the way!

I already have 2 kids before marriage so why wear white 😂 plus I love the idea of a nontraditional wedding…white dresses are elegant and nice for some brides don’t get me wrong! But people need to understand that not everyone pulls off white or they just like other colors more.. for me it’s black for you it’s red either way it’s the bride and grooms day and we are going to look gorgeous in whatever color we decide on

We are eloping on Brooklyn bridge and I already ruffled my family members feathers by picking that (I am from Indiana) my fiancé is from Brooklyn and my daughter got her name from Brooklyn bridge so it was perfect for us! What is good for you and your fiancé may not be good for others but it’s what you pick and want to remember always!

I have a white dress but I definitely debated a pink one, if I could have found something I liked! There weren't really any nice ones here in Australia though, so I settled on a pink sash.

I agree with the others - it's your day, and I kind of LOVE seeing people's personalities shine through in the type of dress they chose! It's part of the enjoyment for me, as a guest!

I bet they could! but, weirdly enough the dress I would have chosen in pink would have been very different from the white one!

I knew that I either wanted something REALLY unusual and dramatic with loads of details, texture, 3D flowers etc. ORRRR I'd go for the complete other end of the spectrum - a super plain, timeless dress, which is what I ended up with! These had been my inspiration pictures for a super long time -

Aww, thank you! I would have loved pink, but it had to be the right one, and I had to fall deeply in love - but because there was so little to try on here, I just didn't find anything that made me feel like that. Plus, I know there will be many, many opportunities to wear more pink dresses, but this is really the only time I'll get to wear a big ol' white ballgown, haha!

Meanwhile my husband to be is so funny - he said he knew for sure I didn't have a pink dress because my bridesmaid dresses were pink - and he's totally right!

But yeah, I LOVE coloured dresses!
