Dress prices for Allure Romance and Mori Lee?

steebsthegreat, on January 6, 2016 at 5:18 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 23

I'm going to my first appointment to look at dresses next month so I've started getting an idea of what I think I might like online. I've seen a lot of Mori Lee dresses that I adore and I also like some of the Allure Romance dresses.

I haven't been able to find a price range for these brands and I don't want to even bother trying them on if they're out of my budget. I don't want something with a long train or over-the-top of lace/beading. Anyone have an idea of what these average?

Ummm I think Allure is between $**** +/-? I got an Allure gown with all over lace, no beading or anything and it was $1350 and that I think is like the cheapest one. Mori Lee is cheaper- like average $1000-$1800ish? This is purely just a guestimate so please take it with a grain of salt.

I have an Allure Romance gown and it was right around $1200. Most of the Allure dresses I saw were in the 1 to 1.5k range.

I have Allure 9266 and it retails for about $1400. It is lace over organza and has a beaded neckline. ETA: when I was still dress shopping, I looked at a lot of Mori Lee gowns that were in the $900-$1200 range.

I got the Allure Romance 2816 and the sticker price was $1288. When I got to my appointment I filled out a paper that outlined my budget and my likes/dislikes along with my wedding information. I also had some photos of dresses I liked. My consultant asked me to walk around the store and pick dresses I liked while she picked out dresses she thought would look good on me. She made sure not pull anything that was over my budget so that was really nice since I didn't fall in love with a $3000 dress on accident!

My Mori Lee dress with lace and beading was $1500. I was looking at a lot of Allure Romance styles too and they were all around $****. Mori lee also has a lower-priced line called Mori Lee Blu. I think the dresses in that line are all $1000 or less.

My Mori Lee was 1400 and covered in lace and sparkles, and I got it half off! Always check online because they have different promos and the stores may honor it! My sister in law saved a few hundred on her dress that way. Have fun!!

I tried on several from the Allure woman line and they ranged from $****. I got mine during a trunk sale so I got 10% off.

Before I even made an appt. I called salons and asked I'd they had the styles I was interested in and the prices so I knew what I was walking into.

A friend I went dress shopping with a few weeks ago, bought Allure #2416 for under $500. It was on the discontinued list for 2016 and the shop owner was having a 50 % off sale. The tag was marked $900.00. Not sure what collection it is from.

I really wanted to not try on dresses that were out of budget too, and I found this website when looking for styles I like.

I paid $850 for my Mori Lee at a trunk sale. It was originally $899. If you have some Allure and ML styles that you like. Google the price of that style. You can get a ballpark figure of what the costs maybe to help you with your budget.
