Dress Nightmare

Keyona, on December 13, 2019 at 5:34 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10
Has anyone ever woke up in a sweat that they choose the wrong dress.
Literally it’s 5am and I’m looking at pictures of my dress. Wedding is coming close and too late to change at this point.
I really just want to look amazing my first alteration Appointment isn’t until 1/11.

YES! I had the exact same issue about two months before my wedding. After a fitting just felt unsure about the dress. Apparently it happens to a lot of women, panic just sets in. I went shopping with my sister and tried on a few dresses and that totally put my mind at ease! Nothing I tried on looked as nice as my dress and it really helped!

I totally felt the same! My fiancée looked at me like I was nuts when I mentioned that I wasn’t sure about my dress. Go with your girls to try on gowns and then you can feel more comfortable with your decision!

Yes! It happened right after I bought the dress. I think it's all too common to feel this way.

Go back to the day you picked it out and remember the way it may you feel and all the reasons you fell in love with it in the first place. I think you'll feel a lot better once you go in for alterations.
In the meantime, stop looking at pictures and maybe take a pause on wedding planning to enjoy the next couple of weeks through the holidays. Pick right back up after the new year 😊.

I felt this way but about the dress size. Luckily it was the day after I purchased and I was able to call them to go up a size

I felt this way too where I kept getting scared that I didn't actually love the dress!

All of that changed with my first alteration appointment! The moment she pinned everything up & back & out of the way I had a sigh of relief while thinking "oh yeah, this is definitely THE dress!"

I did that a lot bc I chose a champagne dress and not white. I freaked out so much and I regret that. Just trust how you felt when you chose it
