Dress Hem Unattached

When I ordered my dress the salon ordered the hem attached. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

    Huh? If you ordered it to a certain specific length or you just happen to be the exact height it was designed for, then it shouldn't need any alterations to the hem. Otherwise you will need alterations to the length as well.

    It's all lace so they ordered it unattached to measure the length when it comes in. I hope it works. Couldn't find anything online for it.
