Dress has arrived but still doubting its the one.

I cried when I tried on the dress I purchased. I love it, its beautiful but my fiance doesn't like it. He has seen a handful of pictures of wedding dresses I've shown him and he didn't care for them. One of which is the dress I bought. Of course he says ill look drop dead beautiful in any dress I decide to get so how do I get the doubt out of my mine? I tried on 5 dresses in total and tried on 2 dresses after the one I cried and in and couldn't get it out of my head. I pick it up this Saturday but I'm wondering if I should try on a few more dresses to make sure I have THE ONE. Anyone have any advice or been in the same situation?

Yes! I think the key to remaining happy with the dress you have chosen & love is to Immediately stop looking at other dresses! There are so many gorgeous dresses out there, and new ones popping up all the time. It’s so easy to find others you love that make you question your choice.

The dress will look totally different on you than on the model. I can almost guarantee he wouldn't even know that it was the same dress. Definitely do not try on more dresses! Get the one you love altered to suit YOUR tastes and try not to let your FI dictate how you feel about a dress you love.

I love sleeves too! I feel like they're getting less popular in the wedding dress industry. Many have to add them on instead of it being the original cut/design

I was like if it doesn’t have sleeve on it already I don’t want it. I get they can add that but I’m short so I know alterations will be a bit pricey if I need it hemmed and the train shorted. I don’t want to pay to put on sleeves when they’re dresses with them. And the lace was the right amount of detail and coverage I want.

Remember that things will looks soooo different on you vs the model!! I really wouldn’t worry about it, he will think that you’re insanely beautiful in it!
Remember also, that it matters more how you feel in the dress. If you feel beautiful, you will just look so happy and radiant in it that he will see that and will love it too!

I promise, your FH will love whichever dress you feel good in! Even if he said he didn't like it on the model. Don't try on any other dresses. He probably had no interest in the model, but your dress will look so different on you! Just knowing how much you loved it, I am sure it will still be the one!

Show him you in the dress. Lots of people who think styles look odd, love them on. If he really does hate it, you don't want it. More likely he will love it. And have the pleasure of anticipation, thinking of when he will see it again.
