Yesterday I finally got to try my gown on after the first wave of alterations and I’m soooo happy with how my dress is fitting now that it’s fitting more according to my body’s shape! When I first tried it on without any alterations, my dress was a TAD too tight in the bottom compared to the sample (I assume because the sample had been true on a lot which caused it to stretch out a little), so my seamstress let out some of the problem areas for a much more comfortable fit! Next, we are going to take in the top part of the bodice as that’s a little loose and add my bustle. My next fitting is April 2nd, I can’t wait!
