Dress Fitting Monday - What’s Your Dress Type?

I also went with a mermaid style.

Its covered in a sparkle lace with buttons down the back.

I got my first dress fitting back in December and the next one will be at the end of Feb. I'm getting married in April and they want to do the final fitting a week before the wedding just in case any minor adjustments need to be made.

I had purchased my dress in January of 2019 right after I had gotten engaged. I had emergency gallbladder surgery this last August and lost a bunch of weight because of it, so I waited until the last couple of months to make sure the dress fit pretty well so I wouldn’t need crazy alterations.
On the flip side I lost 18 pounds, and went from a size 8 to a size 4 lol.

Congratulations Danica, I tried on 30 dresses and it came down to the Casablanca # 2163, a mermaid or Stella York # 6979, a fit and flare, it took me 4 months to decide, I picked the Stella York!

I went with a line. Thought I would want mermaid but when I tried it on I didn't like it on me

Did my fitting....and it fits perfectly! My seamstress works wonders...added in some extra boning and gave a little trim with the length. I couldn't be happier (will post a photo when I'm sure my FH won't see it ;-)).
