Dress Distress

Planning a wedding on a budget is not easy. I've been browsing dresses online but I'm having trouble finding a beautiful dress that doesn't break the bank. I've checked David's Bridal and JJs House without much luck. Anyone have suggestions for finding a dress for less than $1000 that still looks good?

You can get one custom made for a lot cheaper on Etsy. Just make sure you scour every review possible. I went that route and ultimately got the dress I wanted, but it was not without drama. There are also other budget dress sites, including Lulus and Asos. You can also check the big bridesmaid dress sites, like Azazie and Birdy Grey, because a lot of those dresses also come in white! It’s also Prime Day today and tomorrow, and brides have found absolutely gorgeous gowns on Amazon!

Check out Stillwhite.com! You can find some great deals on designer dresses!

Try Azazie! I've found a few dresses I'm interested in on there. They have a try-on program where you can get three dresses shipped to your house and you have a week to try them on (and you can do multiple sequential try-on orders if you want to try on more than three dresses, which most people do).

I got mine from a bridal shop that sells previous year's dresses for steeply discounted prices. You could check to see if there's anything like that near you.

Coco Melody, Alamour the Label, Fame and Partners, Etsy, Stillwhite, local consignment shops, local bride groups on facebook.

I got mine from Etsy, from a seller who had made dresses I've worn in the past and knew she was great! I paid about $850 for

    mine!

I got my dress from an outlet bridal store in my area, so it was a designer dress for 50% off.
