Dress Dilemma

Thefuturewierzbas, on July 12, 2020 at 8:08 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7
Does anyone else have a Maggie Sottero Taylor Lynette? I'm curious as to how it is while wearing it? It is heavy while dancing? Any cons i should know about?

My mom and MIL think I may need a 2nd dress. I'm debating as well! Dress Dilemma 1

Didn’t have that brand but just gotta say that’s so beautiful! Also getting a second dress is a good idea in general if you’ve got the budget for it cause it would be easier moving around in another slimmer or lighter dress.

Thats what I was thinking. Its heavy, at least in my opinion, and there's no bustle, and they don't do alterations where I got this dress from. I feel like it would be a LOT.

I would have a seamstress add a bustle. It’s a gorgeous dress. I’d want to wear it as long as possible.

Yes I agree with Leslie. Add a hustle and wear your beautiful dress all night!

Hi!! How many layers are there in your skirt? I wore a big ballgown and it had several layers of tulle - and I got super hot! (I also generally run warm and fairly sweaty Smiley laugh ) I needed help from my bridesmaids cooling down, and eventually caved and changed into my "after party" dress with about 2 hours left in the reception. I was really happy I had it on hand early!!

I'm still obsessed with my ballgown and would wear it again - but it was definitely hot, heavy, and just felt like it took up a lot of space!
