dress delayed

I purchased my dress over one year ago. My dress was slated to arrive two months before the big day. It’s been a week past and the boutique says it’s delayed. I called last month to make sure they would call me when it arrived. I’m freaking out. There’s no way I can find a backup dress I actually like within this short of a time frame!!

    Yeah the boutique’s policy is dresses don’t arrive until two months before the wedding. I should have been concerned over that but the person who owns the salon is a somewhat celebrity stylist so for that reason I had a lot of trust and now I’m just freaking out

    I would call the designer of the dress, or demand the salon do so. 2 months is a quick turnaround depending on alterations.

    I would find out if its shipped or when it is expected to ship. Also request tracking information and call every few days!

    I contacted the manufacturer and they are contacting the salon on my behalf to get more information on my dress. Hopefully a push from the manufacturer will help..

    Just an update.. after I contacted the manufacturer they got in touch with the boutique. The boutique owner called me last Tuesday to tell me the dress was going to be leaving the manufacturer on a Friday after going through inspections and it would arrive today. She said last Tuesday that she would call me the next Friday. She didn’t call me at all today. I called her AND texted her and still nothing. I’m in panic mode again and I don’t know what else I can do at this time..
