Dress decision!

I want dress shopping for the first time yesterday, after dreading it because I’m so self conscious about my hips, I realized that a form fitting dress flattered me the most. Anyway I really like two dresses, the one I have been in love with was a size 6 that I had to squeeze myself into and everyone started to cry since they could imagine me in a size that actually fit. The second dress is the same style by the same designer so it fit me, wasn’t the same reaction but everyone loved it as well. The consultant told me I could pay $100 to have the one I love shipped here so I could get the proper feel. I posted pictures, so please excuse my encased sausage body in the first one!

    They are both gorgeous but I personally love the 2nd one better. Of course the ultimate decision is yours. Whichever one you love more and feel more comfortable in is the one you should go with.

    They are both beautiful! I do like the second one better because of the difference in the back. However, you can't go wrong!

    I agree with pp, the second dress looks great on you! I like back of 2nd dress better than the 1st one.
    (Btw you look nothing like encased sausage lol in the 1st dress, even though it’s not your size. You have no reasons to feel self conscious.)

    You do not look like an encased sausage, you look beautiful and you should definitely flaunt your curves! I haven’t found my dress, so I don’t know myself, but a lot of people say they just know it’s the one and get emotional. It seems like the first dress got more of a reaction from everyone with you from your post, but how did you feel? Personally, I like dress #2 better because I’m not a fan of the way the train is done in the first one and it appears more fluid in the second. You look stunning in both dresses, whatever you decide.

    Both dresses are absolutely gorgeous and you’ll look beautiful regardless of which one you choose. I lovee the back of the second dress, but you should go with the one you really love! I’d say pay the $100 so you can see how the correct size looks and feels that way you can really decide!

    First of all, you have no reason to feel self conscious because you have a beautiful figure. That being said, I like the second dress more. As a previous poster mentioned, the transition in the back of the skirt is smoother. However, if you love the 1st one and that's the one that got an emotional reaction from everyone (most importantly, you), then I would go with that one or at least pay the $100 to have it ordered in your size. Also, can you find out if that $100 can be applies to the cost of the dress or if you can just buy that one if you decide on it?

    I like number 2 better but that's me. I would go with dress number 1 though because of the way everyone reacted to it

    The $100 can be applied to either dress! So I’m not really losing anything and at least I’ll get the real feel for it.
