Dress confusion

So I bought A dress that wasn’t really at all what I expected To want. Now two weeks later (looking at pictures of others I tried On) I think I picked The wrong dress. How do I decide?! Did anyone else buy a second dress or regret their first choice? I still Like the one I bought, but it’s just not...

Did anyone else buy a second dress or regret their first choice? I still Like the one I bought, but it’s just not “me”. Idk how that’s the one I ended up getting now looking back other than it was a hectic, emotional, overwhelming day. 😩🤦🏽‍♀️😂

My dress was big on me when I bought it. I had dress regret at first as well , it was something different than what I was going for once I got it in alterations and sized right to my body I can't see myself walking down the aisle in anything else. I think once it is fit to your body it will be perfect.

I have been waiting 7 months for my dress (and still wont have it until mid/late July) and for a while I was having dress regret thinking I chose to soon or that I choose one that wasn't me, even looking at all the amazing dresses ladies on here have chosen and ones I think I would fall in love with, I stop and think about how I felt when I tried on my dress, and what my dad told me when we sat down at lunch after dress shopping to decide between 2. He pulled up the picture of me in what would be my dress and said look at that smile, and I realize I loved how I felt in the dress, and how it made me feel so beautiful and that my FH would fall in love with me all over again when he saw me. Yea there are a ton of dresses out there and you will feel this way now and then for sure, but look back at when you put it on and how it made you feel. You chose it for a reason and if you loved when you had it on then I think you should keep that feeling and love your dress!

The smile if your face in the one you bought says it all. It will be perfect in your size!

The dress you didn't buy is stunning for sure - but like you said its a lot of dress I think for the wedding you are having. the dress you actually bought you are going to SLAY in, its so different! once you put it on when it fits you are totally going to feel like a movie star! I had second thoughts about my dress & was like loosing sleep & then when I walked in & saw & put it on again I was like what was I thinkinggg its amazing

That dress is absolutely gorgeous on you! I think once it is fitted to your body (after alterations) you will feel better about it. I also agree with what everyone else is saying, you need to remember WHY you chose that dress and the feeling you had when you had it on.

Honestly, the one on the right looks really generic in the sense that out of the last 8 weddings I've been to, 6 have worn dresses like that. It is beautiful, but I love how unique the one on the left is.

Well, the way I see it is, there is always going to be something better out there. There are hundreds of thousands of dresses and it's next to impossible to find everything you could ever want in a dress and still feel like you! After buying mine I've seen a few here and there that I thought "dang did I make a mistake?" My best friend is getting married three weeks after me and her dress is so stunning! But I had a photo I kept with me when I went dress shopping and it was my piece of "inspiration" from day one. It's exactly how I want to look on my wedding day. Based on your photos, I think I like the first one better anyway Smiley smile When you're all dolled up on your big day, it probably won't even be on your mind! You'll be so focused on everything else going on! Best of luck!

Both are beautiful dresses on you so you couldn’t make a bad decision either way! It’s very hard when the dress is not the right size but when you get your dress in your size you will really love it!!!

Having/had the same problem. Bought a dress I thought was exactly what I wanted bridal party cried I cried, but I slowly kept looking back and regretting the purchase and how I didn’t like it but I did like it emotional roller coaster. Went to another dress place with no expectations of buying at all just wanted to look to see if I was over thinking it. But the second dress on and really knew it was the one I didn’t regret buying the second one because that time there was no pressure and wasn’t even planning on loving anything. It was all fresh emotions and no stress that’s when I knew it was the one.

I by far prefer the one on the right. And the train on the one on the right is the kind where you can either bustle it, or use a wrist loop. Ordinarily I say, just stop looking at other pics. But here, I would say, reconsider and change to the one on the right. Left is okay, right is gorgeous.

I did the same thing with my veil. I went back and changed it.
I think if it was "the one" you would have no second thoughts.
Maybe, the sooner you call to see if you can get the 2nd one the better.
I'm saying this because once I changed my veil...I knew that nagging feeling of doubt was right , and I'm so happy now.
That being said... you look beautiful in both!!! Truly!
    Good luck!

I’m not sure why this keeps coming back up, but I am happily keeping my original dress. Nervous jitters aside, I’m happy with my decision. I appreciate the positive comments. ♥️
