I dont want to wear white dress for my wedding. I want a red fitted short dress . What I mean short is to my knees. Something I can wear over again. Everyone else is thinking I want to wear white. What do you guys think???

You shouldn’t care what anyone else thinks, wear what makes YOU happy. It’s YOUR day.Smiley smile

Why not? There are no rules what the bride can wear! You can use accessories such as a veil, overskirt, cape, or oversized bow if you want to make it feel more "bridal." A few of your guests may show up in red, so if you don't want that, you may have to spread that info by word of mouth.

If everyone thinks you want to wear white, then they are TERRIBLE at mind-reading, they'd better NOT bet on sport games too often 😀😉.
There are no rules AT ALL on what color a bride is or isn't 'allowed' to wear. I'm planning to wear non-white as well, I'm still torn between light gray or a darker hue but it'll be gray. You can even find black wedding dresses! Some brides wear a pantsuit, some wear a skirt suit or a skirt with a simple top. A tradition isn't an obligation and it doesn't make your marriage valid or nullified if you're skipping it.

Wear what you want to and feel comfortable in!
My best friend went to a wedding last year for a childhood friend of his, and she wore a red dress she made herself.

You do you girl! Like others have mentioned, there's no rule that you have to wear white, and there's a bunch of ways to jazz up a knee length dress if you want to give it a more bridal feel (or not! Again, totally your choice). I'd recommend looking at dresses that aren't marketed as "wedding" dresses as that'll give you more options and be way less expensive.

So i think you should do what you want but i honestly hate the idea lol not that its red, but the descriptions sounds like you will just blend into the crowd. I would really push for you to choose like a red prom dress, either mermaid or ballgown, some sparkle, if you like. Or maybe throw a tulle overskirt over your short dress and take it off later. Or tell your guests no red lol Again, no rules! Do what you want!!! It will still be beautiful.

Do what you want Marie! If the red short dress makes you happy, then the red short dress it is! I am not wearing a white dress either. Wear what you want and look good in it! It’ll be fine.

Wear what you want! I love the idea of wearing the dress again.
