I haven't started shopping for dresses just yet, I'm probably going to wait until January to begin (October 2021 wedding). I live in Northern NJ and I don't want to go to the "factory" shops. I prefer to go someplace that's more personal. When we were shopping for my sister's dress last year, we went to a David's Bridal and it was awful. We also went to a few of the more common places near us that we thought would be good, but it was still not a great experience. We eventually found her dress at a mom n' pop shop in PA (Sandra's Boutique) and the place was so nice and everyone was super friendly. Any places like that around Northern NJ/PA area that people recommend?

Following..... North Jersey here too and looking for bridesmaid dresses. There does not seem to be as many bridal stores now as there when for my first marriage 20 plus years ago! Everything in online. My 3 daughters want to have a day of trying dresses on (not just pick them from the website) but I cant find any local places either. Help us!

You’d probably be better off coming to NY as there are many smaller boutiques here.

My daughter just bought her dress from Lovely Bride in Philadelphia. They were amazing to work with.

Bridal Suite Boutique is amazinggg, I got my dress from there and the experience was so great that my BMs wanted to come back the next day to look at dresses for themselves. I've heard great things about Castle Couture and Seng Couture as well, but not really sure how far away you are from these places.

Chicago bride here, I got my dress from a plus size location out here called Brides by Young, I know they definitely have a NJ location

If you are willing to make the trip. Go to SouthernSwan Bridal in Lakeland FL. She has the best dresses and prices are great. Not to mention the customer service and knowledge is beyond anything you will find any where else.
