Dress appointment undergarments

Strapless bra, whatever panties. I don't think it really matters until fittings start but I know a strapless bra is recommended.

Depends on where you go. David's puts you in one of their longline bras, so you what you wear doesn't matter.

Comfortable strapless bra and boyshorts undies (unless you don't care who sees your butt). During my appointment the back zipper got stuck down around my butt and I had 2 ladies down there trying to get it unstuck. Really glad I decided to not wear a thong that day!

Yeahhh.. I recommend you bring a strapless bra even if you're under the impression that they have them there for you. You don't want to end up in an awkward bra-less situation like I did (...or maybe you do?)

As minimal as possible, you want to see what the dress will actually look like how you will wear it.

My first appointment I wore super conservative nude undies and a nude strapless bra. They ended up having a changing stall within the larger changing room, so no one saw anything anyway. I wrongly assumed that all bridal shops were like this and wore my space undies to the next appt. I'm sure my consultant had a laugh about them later!

I wore a strapless bra and bikini undies. You will spend a LOT of time not wearing clothes, so definitely don't wear a thong. But I figure the consultants have probably seen it all so if it doesn't bother you, it probably won't bother them.

Nothing really. Most bridal shops have bras and crinoline skirts for use when trying on dresses. If you're grossed out by that, then a strapless bra. The consultant will be all over you and under your skirt so you may want to choose your best underwear.

None of the places i went to offered any undergarments so I would wear conservative white or nude underwear and a strapless bra.

I wore seamless white Victoria's Secret underwear, and a strapless bra. I tried on about 30 dresses all in all. In the end it was determined that the dress I chose worked best with no bra. I ended up getting Victoria's Secret sticky gel cups. At one point several months ago, I was about 15 lbs heavier than I am now, and my stomach was bulging, so the dress shop let me try the dress on with one of those spanx half girdle things ... I don't know what they are called ... but I HATED it, it actually added an inch on to me, and the bridal consultant agreed it was best without it. I recently read on here (WW) the same happened to another girl ... those spanx never work for me.

I am bustier then the average girl and did not wear a bra under any of the bridal gowns I tried on. But all of the gowns I tried on had boning or a corset back, which makes a difference.

Wear your nicest underwear that covers the majority of your butt.

I wore a thong....big mistake. Like @Rebecca I had THREE! girls squeezing my butt cheeks together and trying to zip the dress over my big behind.

So yeah....wear panties you dont mind a total stranger seeing you in, and touching you in....
