The only problem is, it is not the correct shape for my body. The dress is a fit & flare and I would need more of an A-line type shape. I spoke to a seamstress who said the dress could be altered into a modest A-line if I were to order the dress 3 sizes too large. That just seems like such an undertaking! It makes me so nervous! Has anybody else altered a fit and flare to an A-line?? And if so, how did it turn out?

I'm in the same boat as you. I found a Morilee dress that has been discontinued and is from the 2019 Collection here are a few dresses still out there. I bought one from snagged and bagged, and I'm looking for another one, I've seen some on Poshmark, Stillwhite, Mercari, and other places. This is the picture of the dress. I have asked many people and they say the same thing as everyone else on here is telling you. But i love everything about the dress except the silhouette, and i really wanted a Morilee dress because my mom had a Morilee dress for her wedding and she passed away in 2023. I know the designer doesn't matter, but it's important to me. I have a neighbor that is seamstress and said she might be able to take the side seams out and use the fabric from the second dress to make it into an a line but other people say that it wouldn't look good, and that they wouldn't put there name on it. I tried AI to see what it would look like as an A line so I attached those pictures under the pictures of me wearing the dress.
