** Follow up from my freaking out post**

So I contacted another lady in town who actually has her own alterations business. She has a little shop in town and she only does alterations. I have my first appointment Friday afternoon. What should I expect from it. I know to bring everything I plan on wearing with my dress. I did tell her I wasn't sure if I was going to wear shapeware or not, but she told me to bring it and we can see how it looks on and off.

This should be an easy appointment, so you should relax and let her do her best work. 😊 She will measure you, see you with the dress on, how you stand and walk, etc.

Make sure you bring the shoes you want to wear on your big day, and also any jewelry you know you want to wear (or similar jewelry styles). And have a tiny idea of how you want your hair bc that may help, but I'm not sure it really matters.
Don't eat a huge meal beforehand, and arrive a little early to give yourself time so you're not running around crazy. Enjoy and good luck! ❤

Thank you! I'm looking forward to it, I've only had my dress on at home with crappy mirrors, so it will be nice to get to see it all put together for the most part.

It'll be fun! My second appointment is next week so I can't wait to see the dress and where it is now. I'm so afraid I might have gained weight, but I think it's just in my head!

That's my biggest fear! I bought my dress last March, I had no intention of buying one so early but I found "THE ONE" between my meds, my sister died unexpectedly and life I've gained about 12lbs from when I very first had my dress on. Thankfully when I got my dress it was big on me. So after friday it's staying pretty strict so nothing major changes.

Oh no! Well, luckily you are a few months away from the big day so this is good. They were going to bring in a couple of inches from each side for mine. I know I need to eat healthier, it's just so hard to cut off bad habits after the holidays!

I'm getting really nervous, there are so many little things I have left to do and I feel like I don't have a lot of time left! ...I just can't wait for it to be here already!
