Hello all!
This is the dress — I absolutely love it… but I am going to alter it a bit (lol). I'm planning to shorten it to ankle length, and with the extra fabric, I’ll be adding detachable off-the-shoulder swag sleeves. 😍
Right now, it has an underslip with an attached crinoline and an extra crinoline layer, which I’ll be removing so it lays more like a slim A-line instead of being too poofy.
Here’s my dilemma: do I add a slit or not? There’s no seam to follow, but I’ll have enough fabric to work with if I decide to go for it.
Sometimes I wonder if I should just get a whole different dress because of all the changes I’m making… but every time I look, I just end up comparing everything to this one. Once the alterations are done, it really will be my dream dress — except for that missing slit!
Thoughts? Slit or no slit? Would love your input! 💬💕
