Dress alterations issues

So I just had my last fitting and we have to just tweek a few little things before I pick it up. My bridal salon had two appointments one was the Tuesday before my wedding and this was pickup only. The other was the day before my wedding which I am able to try on the dress to make sure everything is fine. I thought this was crazy that I am unable to try my dress on if I choose the Tuesday date and I'm kinda freaking out that I have to go pick up my dress the day before. Thoughts on this? What would you have done. Because they are altering it a little I was more comfortable trying it on.

They won't allow it. It's pick up only. So I basically have an alterations appointment the day before my wedding. Tuesday would be walking in taking the bag and leaving.

I am doing this also.
I think which day you choose depends on how many changes are needed? Is it wearable without these tweaks? If so, I would probably just pick it up on Tuesday and not have to worry about it the Friday before. If you could wear it without, there isn't really a reason to try it on. When you try it on the day before, will they have time to make any changes before the wedding day anyways? If not, it again doesn't matter if you try it on in store or not. Either way, I think you are fine. Just do what's easiest and less stressful.

Yes, I asked that question. The reason I want to try it on is we have to switch out the longline bra that I got from my seamstress and they have to alter that as well so I just want to make sure that you cant see the bra from the back of the dress before I take it home which means going to pick it up the day before my wedding.
