Dress alteration nightmare

I need opinions. I think I went to far and butchered and hacked my wedding to a no longer stunning dress. I feel like crying and I am feeling bridzilla come out of her shell. The back is so confusing as to choosing a bustle. So we decided if we trimmed the train a few inches and cut out the slip it would be much less fabric to bustle and that would give me the bustle appearance I was happy with. Well I agreed and now I think my dress looks terrible! Please give opinions on how to move forward. I have no contacted my seamstress as I am still trying to calm back down

    I think you look amazing in it and I would never had known the train should have been longer if you hadn't posted the other picture

    It looks fine. I do like the fuller train in the first picture though, I don't think this is something to freak out about. If you hadn't shared the first pic, I wouldn't have noticed! It is a stunning look from the back either way.

    ETA: a nightmare would be the dress not fitting, it not coming in on time, or something severe happening to it (I've heard actual nightmares where there dress was in a building that burned down, now THAT'S a nightmare)

    Boo, you look great!!! If only I could have a figure like yours! It ABSOLUTELY is a killer dress, and you look incredible in it!

    Understand too, everyone cannot pull that off, but you are certainly pulling it off & well might I add!

    The dress looks awesome on you!

    However if you want to keep the full part, maybe try a cathedral veil to make it up for it?

    Wow, it looks stunning! I love it.

    But whether or not you love it is all that matters.

    I agree with PP, can you try on a cathedral veil with it (one that would be longer than the train)?

    Oh hun, its still looks beautiful. I think the biggest difference is that the 1st image is fanned out, the 2nd is bunched up. its hard to get a long train to naturally fan. Since theres less fabric, you'll just need to adjust it a little more often to get the full look, but its still gorgeous. I LOVE exposed lace trains and hems
