Dress advice!

Typically your dress will be fluffier than the sample since it hasn’t been handled, tried on, etc. so many times. You could also consider a hoop slip that would give more volume, but also allow for better airflow under the skirt.

It is a beautiful dress!

Will it be in soon for you to see it on you in your size?

If not, maybe you can go back to where you purchased it and see if they can show you how it would look/feel with a fuller skirt.

I would also suggest trying it on when it comes in with a hair piece/veil and accessories. It’s really easy to think our dress is not enough because we’re constantly looking at a complete bridal look on Pinterest. That really helps!

Extend the waist in alterations?

I have a tulle lace A-line dress that I wanted to make puffier to look more ball gown. I ordered a petticoat through JJhouse. When I have my dress on with out the petticoat I feel like I'm over heating! But when I tried the dress on with the petticoat I got more air circulating under me! I felt like I would be ok wearing it granted my wedding is next month in December in Florida so it wont be cold or too hot.

I think it’s really pretty. If you want more fullness try it on with a bigger slip and put a veil on and once it’s sized and you have accessories you will feel better.

Of course it'll look better when it fits your body. Also if your ceremony is inside or reception is inside they have AC on in the summertime. You'll be fine. Relax.

Unless you hate/dislike your dress, trying on accessories can show you a preview of your entire bridal look. It really helps.

I love your dress! When you put the dress on with accessories and your hair and makeup on i think you’ll probably feel better! You could try different veils, belts, cool hair pieces, etc and see if any of those help?
