Dress advice! Feeling regret

My fiancé and I had a venue at a Spanish Renaissance style museum. Originally I wanted something fitted with a train. On where I completely changed directions, and ended up purchasing a full ball gown. Nothing at all what I was considering but it went perfectly with the venue. Due to medical reasons, we opted to cancel our venue and look for some less expensive, or possibly eloping. So now we’re looking at cheaper venues and I feel like my dress is just too over the top. I kind of wish I just stuck with my original vision and got something else.


I’m in my early 30s and I’m worried that the dress is too youthful now. I want advice on what you guys think of the dress, and if I should keep it, or if I should try and sell it and get something else. The dress is not returnable or exchangeable so I don’t have that option.
