Doubting my dress!? Is this normal?

It’s totally normal to feel dress doubt or regret. Sometimes for me it has to do with dress envy like I’d see other gowns and think THOSE are so pretty ugh. But then I’d also go back to mine and love it too

OMG girl, it's so normal to have some degree of dress regret, I think most of us brides to be second guess our choices!! I tried on over 40 dresses before I found my dream dress, even now though, I still look at my runner up dress and think I picked the wrong dress, IT'S WHAT WE DO AS WOMEN, just part of feeling the stress of planning our weddings, while our FH'S have little responsibilities, we look for things that aren't right or could go wrong!!

This is my dress, but I still have regret when I look at my runner up, below.

I had such bad dress regret right after I chose my gown that I couldn't sleep. Mostly it was because I am wearing a cape and I was freaking out because people might think thats really weird, but it completely makes the dress so I don't want the dress without the cape. Also, the pictures of me in my dress were AWFUL because the dress was huge on me and there weren't enough clips to make it fit. My sister/MOH and I were staying at my parent's house so I woke her and my mom up super early and they called the dress shop while I completely panicked. I was very dramatic lol. They let me come back in to try it on that day and I invited my Godmother to come because I knew she would be completely unbiased and would tell me if it was not the right dress. Because I went back so soon the boutique didn't even order the dress from the designer yet so if I did change my mind I could have just chosen a new dress from the same boutique. However that was unnecessary! The second i tried it all on my Godmother was crying and I felt SOOO much better. I would definitely recommend going back and seeing what can be done, because even if you like the photos you took they most likely do not do the dress justice and it is just very reassuring!
