Donuts instead of Cake

Have you tried going through the vendor list on this website? If not, you should start there. Then you can just google and call shops that interest you and ask if they can do what you need.

I did go through the list, but it's difficult to narrow down when Donuts isn't an option for the filter. :/

I would go with somewhere local since they typically have better prices than chains. Most wedding cake bakeries in my area offer donuts as an option now since they’re so trendy.

I would definitely google shops in your area, maybe even ask facebook recommendations?

Our cake will be similar to this one. We ate getting from a bakery. More bakeries than you think are doing different wedding"cakes" now.

The actual donuts will be like these but silver instead of gold.

You can search for local bakeries. We have several that specialize in donuts in my area, and they all offer wedding cakes. They are usually higher quality with lower pricing.

We had doughnuts as the groom's cake (and pie instead of wedding cake) and went through a local doughnut place that had a bunch of flavors we liked. Definitely look for places that are local to you - we got 12 dozen AMAZING doughnuts for less than $200 - would have been a lot more at a chain.

We're doing donuts too! We don't care as much about the colors (our colors are ivory and the natural greenery of our venue), so we're just picking some up from Krispy Kreme! There's also a couple donut shops around us where you can "build your own" donut. You may want to look into that!

We are also doing donuts instead of cake! We are getting ours through Krispy Kreme. We are just getting the original glazed but they may do special designs.

I did donuts as favor and got mine through Krispy Kreme. I would maybe contact them and see if they have any personalization options or look and see if any of their existing donuts fit your theme!

My FH and I are having a morning wedding, which means breakfast food reception! We are having donuts instead of cake. He's also a police officer, so we thought it would be funny. Do you have a duck donuts near you?? That's where we will be getting ours. They do custom wedding colors for an extra charge. They are gormet donuts with tons of yummy flavors. The lady I spoke too was helpful and even showed me a scrapbook of different pictures on how to display them. You can even rent donut peg board walls and donut stack sticks from them.
