Donut Wall - Napkins/plates

I am going to have this donut wall at my wedding. The donut wall is free standing and is ~5 feet tall. It is a small wedding (40 people; family only) and my space at my venue is limited. Do I need to have a table next to the donut wall with napkins and plates? There will be a buffet table with plates and napkins but this will be maybe 30 feet from the donut wall.

That sounds delicious! But yes, I would have plates and napkins set up close to the donut wall so people aren’t worried about dripping frosting/powdered sugar all over their nice clothes.

Absolutely have plates and napkins. Those are messy and guests are wearing fancy clothes which is a bad combination. You would do the same for any cupcake display as well, with forks.

Yes you’ll need another little table next to it with those. Most people will run up to it expecting there to be one. I’m totally that person that would not run over to the buffet table 30 ft away upon discovering that because I’d be afraid too many people will snatch up my flavor of choice (if you’re doing multiple flavors) and then get frosting or sugar all over my outfit 😂

It doesn’t have to be a big table. You can do those small “dessert plates” and the small square shaped napkins instead of the dinner size napkins.
