I keep reading brides who are excited that they paid off their vendors BEFORE the wedding. Don't do this!! I will pay off the balance when they SHOW UP at the wedding.

Here's why I don't. I just found out TODAY that the photography company I hired for photo, video AND Dj went out of business and are still scamming people!!! This company had a ton of great reviews on this site and I did a lot of research before deciding on them. Brides are seeing that this vendor is NOT showing up on the wedding day.

Could you imagine? I'm just so grateful that I found out now and not later. And, yes, my bank is refunding me my $1200 deposit.

Wow scarey. Thankfully you were able to get your money back! I have paid somethings on my CC. I did like how my Photographer and Videographer has arrangements where some money befoe some money to recieve/start editting the products. Def makes me feel more confident.
