Dollar dance??? Do people still do this?

When I got married in 98, having a dollar dance was all the rage... I have been to a ton of weddings since then and I don't remember seeing it done, or maybe I was hanging out at the open bar too long and didn't notice it.

I've never seen one either; actually never even heard of it until I started hanging out on wedding forums! But let me tell you there is no way in hell I would let anyone PIN something to my dress. No, no, no.

About half of the weddings i have been to have had them. i kinda don't like the idea but when i ask everyone they say go for it. we will probably have a modest honeymoon, so i kinda like the idea of getting extra cash to use for it! so i think it's really just if you like the idea or not.

Now this is totally unrealted to my feelings on the dollar dance itself, but I cannot imagine someone pinning anything in my dress. Are you freaking kidding me? I'm going to willingly let you shove a pin through the most expensive piece of clothing I've ever worn?! NO.

I've only seen it done once at my fiance's twin's wedding. I'm not going to do it...
