Doing Garter and Bouquet toss together

Nicole, on September 18, 2014 at 4:36 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 4

We won't have many single male and females at our small wedding so we decided that we would toss our garter and bouquet together as a couple. Here is the catch. Everyone will be invited up and attached to our bouquet and garter will either be gift cards or lottery tickets to up the participation. We are stuck on what song to use. What is you'll suggestion?! thanks in advance!

We're planning on doing the same thing for the same reasons, except we're giving a bottle of champagne to the ladies and a bottle of scotch to the men. Now sure what song we're using yet, though.

We're playing it up to be a little cheesy but my bouquet is Single Ladies (original I know) and the garter is U2's 'Still Haven't Gound What I'm Looking For'

We are doing the garter and bouquet toss separately, but we are letting everyone participate (not just single guests) and the "catchers" win a dance with the groom and I. Didn't want the whole awkward guy putting garter on girl thing! We are doing the garter toss to "Danger Zone" and the bouquet toss to "It's Raining Men." And dancing to "Somewhere over the Rainbow" by Isreal Kamakawiwoʻole Smiley smile
