Doilies/placemats

I don't think you need placemats. I've only seen placemats once at a wedding and it gave the vibe of Lent supper at church rather than a wedding. Skip them and have the tables set nicely without them.

We are! I personally think charger plates are huge waste of money, so we are placing doilies instead.

We're using chargers because our venue provides that and china at no extra cost!

Idk what your style/theme is, but I think doilies would look really cute and somewhat vintage if you style them the right way! You could always get however many you need for one table setting (ex. 8 for an 8 person table), and set it up so you get a good idea of how it will all look together!

I think it'll really help you get a feel of how the entire setup will look! If you're going for a vintage wedding look, then doilies would work out really great and tie the theme together!

Chargers are pretty but expensive!! Paper doilies are such a good alternative! 💖
