Disneydarling 9/10/20, on November 25, 2018 at 1:34 PM Posted in Planning 0 12
I have to pick a DJ from the perfered vendor list at my venue . I received a quote for 750 amazing reviews and has a 5 star rating should I keep looking?

That's really cheap for a DJ in my area.

Yes, this is reasonable. DJ's in my area average about $****. I was lucky enough to know someone who referred me to a DJ for $800. I had no idea DJ's were so expensive!

Don't know where you're located, but yes, that's INCREDIBLY reasonable. For our DJ (who included ceremony, reception, cocktail hour, online planning, customized requests, set up, tear down, travel and the photobooth service) we paid $1,700 ish and that was a great deal here in Chicago. I'd say if they're your style, in your budget and they make you feel comfortable, go for it. We received plenty of other quotes for less, but for us it came down to personality and professionalism.

Yes I think that's reasonable. We were quoted 1200 last year when we were the first ones to book for the year. We decided to not do it but then a month before the wedding my mom said she would pay for a DJ. We went with the best dj in northern nv and because we were booking so close they charged us 495 for 2 sound systems, 2 locations and about 5 hours. So yes I think 750 is pretty good.

I think that’s a very reasonable price. I’ve received quotes double that amount for only 3 1/2 hours.

It depends where you are at, but our DJ costs $700 for dinner music, introductions, and 3 hours of music after our first dance. We can add hours after that for $50 each.

Idk where you live but thats super cheap. If they have 5 stars book them now. In my area the cheapest you can find is $2000 and thats the basic package

That sounds really reasonable! For a small company event, the DJ rates were $1000-$1500 and I was floored.

That is pretty cheap. If he has that good of reviews I'd definitely book him!

Disneydarling 9/10/20, this sounds like an awesome deal! The average couple spends $1000 on a DJ, so I say go for it! How much time would you have the DJ for?
