Does this seem like enough alcohol for 100 guests?

Alaina, on May 11, 2017 at 5:16 PM Posted in Planning 1 23

From your past weddings or bartending experience does this seem enough for 100 guests? We have about 20 that wont drink. I've done the wedding calculators but most of them were different.

six 1.75 liter Mango Rum

four 1 liter and one 750 ml Crown

six 1 liter and two 750 ml Raspberry Vodka

three 750 ml and three 1.75 liter Blue Curacao

These will be for 3 signature drinks. The Mango Rum will be combined with Blue Curacao.

Fourteen 750 ML RED Wine

Fifteen 750 ML White Wine

Thirteen 750 ML Moscato

We will also be getting 2 huge beer kegs.

The reception is 5 hours long. 6-11. Yes one of my signature drinks is a blue hawaiian but I did something different with it!

No. I'm doing 3 signature drinks, wine and beer. The only plain alcohol that doesnt have a flavor is the whiskey.

I think you need (plain) vodka. No flavor.

Talk to your bartender, they may want 1L or 750ml bottles only. Its very hard to pour drinks at a fast rate from a 1.75L bottle. other then that it looks good.

I would purchase a few more bottles of wine. Most places allow you to return unopened bottles of wine. My checklist from my planner recommends a minimum of 18 bottles of wine for 100 people.

So... 30 gallons of just beer divided by 80 guests who drink is 3 full pints of beer. It sounds like your 80 drinkers are gonna need rides home and maybe bail money? Smiley smile Have so much fun!!

I saw on Pinterest a chart that lays out the amount of alcohol that you should have for however many guests attend. Your signature drink sounds delicious!

Always overestimate. I just worked a wedding with about 100 people (I am a bartender) weekend before last and they killed 2 kegs before dinner even started; they had to go and buy more beer. Wine wise I would say I poured probably 24 750ml bottles and then 16 of the big Costco ones.

Thanks everyone! I'm going to go buy a few more wine bottles. I think we're good on the liquor and beer.

Can I come to your wedding? Seriously it looks good to me. But may I also suggest having cases of water available too? Just incase someone doesn't want to drink.

Looks good! I would get just a couple more bottles of red and white wine. Hopefully you are able to return opened ones.

We have around 100 guests and ordered:

    1 keg of good beer

4 cases of bottles of light beer

    24 bottles of white wine

    24 bottles of red wine

    8 bottles of Titos vodka

    8 bottles of Makers Mark

    6 bottles of prosseco

6 bottles of pre made margaritas

And TONS of mixers and garnishes!

We are not doing signature drinks so we did a lot of variety.
