Does this look alright??

Jessica, on February 19, 2021 at 6:52 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7

I'm finally getting back into planning my wedding which won't be until next year, in the fall. I have colors picked out, and I think it would look nice to have my bridesmaids wear two different color dresses so every other girl is wearing one color and the other half is wearing the other. In the pictures, I have sage green and fog as the dress colors and then for the bouquets that they would hold it would be dusty rose and white flowers. Would that look weird? Any suggestions would be helpful! I'll insert the pictures here! If it looks fine, what color shoes should the girls wear? I want the girls to be as comfortable as possible, and I also would like to make them feel like they are apart of the decision making!

I think the bouquets will look lovely with either colored dress, but I'm not sure how the dresses will look next to each other only because they're VERY similar (at least from those photos). Do you have the option of getting some swatches in each color to put the material together? That's probably the best way to see how well they'd look together since the difference isn't a huge one, like two totally different colors.

I think it would look pretty, I would get fabric swatches so you can see how well they would go together and see them in different light - I thought I was going to go for burgundy until I saw the swatch, decided to go for Cabernet instead.

They could wear nude shoes or gold in the pictures? Can’t go wrong with nude, I personally don’t think black would look good with those colors.

I think the colors look very similar at least on the screen so I would recommend ordering swatches to make sure you like how they look together. I think you could do nude, gold, or silver heels with the dresses.

The bouquets will look great with those dresses but the colors of the dresses are very similar.

Thank you! On my laptop the colors look like a gray and a green, but on my phone i see two very similar colors! Thank you for pointing that out (along with everyone else)! I did have a different gray color paired with it that will probably look much better!

    Hi Jessica!

I love either color dress with the bouquets, but I think if you are going for a two-toned colored dress look for your bridesmaids these dresses are too similar in color to achieve that. I'd say pick one of those and then go a few shades darker maybe, or a different shade all together. Like others said, you should definitely order the swatches first too because everything can look so different in pictures!

Also agree that nude colored shoes would work or a gold accent and gold shoes would look great too!

You have lots of time to figure it out and it'll be perfect!

Agree with the previous posts. The dresses look nice a comfortable and would look great with the bouquets. However, the 2 colors look very similar. I also like the color of the first dress best.
