Does the groom show up at the shower?

It is not required but sometimes the groom will come at the very end to help you load the gifts in the car.

Here, the groom often puts in a token appearance at the end of the shower to help take things out to the car.

Any shower i have been to (plus what i will be doing for my own) is the Groom brings the bride to the shower and they walk in together and say hello to everyone, then he leaves and returns at the end of the shower to help load any gifts and pick up the bride.

My FH came at the end and brought the gifts to my car- it just happened to work out that way. I wasn’t expecting him to be there at all.

My shower is Saturday and FH will be heading out to hang out in San Francisco with MOH’s (she’s hosting at her house) boyfriend during the shower. They’re going to come towards the end and FH is going to bring flowers for my MOH, my mom and my sister, all of whom are hosting/helping. His cousin’s will also be there so he will be able to see them for a little bit too.

I drove myself to my shower and my FH spent the day watching football, I loaded the gifts in the car and showed him when I got home. No one even asked if he was coming.

I think it is nice when the groom stops by at the end to see/thank everyone because the gifts are really for him too. My shower is being held at a golf course we love so as long as FH isn’t on the schedule to work (just started a new job) he will play golf with our dads and some friends while the shower is going on. Afterwards he will say hi to the guests and help us load the gifts.

My husband came the entire time and so have all my friends husbands. It’s whatever you prefer, no wrong or right

It all depends, my husband didn’t have any interest in attending and I didn’t mind at all.

My FH will be at my bridal shower, as well as my dad, because we are having it in PA but we live in FL. We will be in PA for a long weekend and leaving to drive home immediately after the shower. My shower is in an Italian restaurant so my dad and FH will have lunch there as well but they probably won’t be in the room we rented. They’ll more than likely be at the bar area the whole time and then help load gifts and stuff at the end.

My fiance came towards the end to partake in a couple of games and thank everyone for coming out. My guests later on told me that it was awesome to have included him. My MOH aka my sister blindfolded me and then had him take my hand for a quick Bachata dance. The guests went nuts lol.

For the shower with my side, he came at the end to help load gifts and thank everyone. (Also, what I've seen at most showers I've attended.) For the shower with his side, he came partway through to surprise me (which he had already told me about because he knew I was nervous not knowing many of the invitees). But really, I think its up to you and him what you want to do.

It's really up to what you both want. Every shower I have ever been to, the groom has shown up before gifts to help the bride open them.
