Does it look funny if the centerpieces are different colors?

So my mom got into my head about having some tall centerpieces so I bought a tall vase for a mock up to see if I could do it. It takes a looot more flowers...like 2x more than my small centerpiece! The mock up could use more flowers. Also, I’m having a hard time finding a tall gold vase match my short vase....everything I found is almost rose gold. Would it look funny to have some tables with my short vase yellow gold color and some tables with more of this rose gold?? I think it looks funny if I used different color vases.

I think they look beautiful! I did a similar color scheme for our tables, some tables had rose gold, some had brass, and some had both. I received so many compliments, even my caterer (who also helped decorate) ended up buying all of our centerpieces! I personally like the mix-matched look, so that is something you'll have to decide if you want that type of look.

This is before the caterer added flowers and linens...

Gorgeous! It really helps me when I see it all together so everyone’s reception photos of different types of centerpieces has me realize it won’t matter so much. Thank you!!

I think they’re beautiful and will work great especially if you’re putting them on different tables. In fact the shorter vase is covered so much by the flowers I don’t really notice the vase much at all.

Thanks! I went ahead and finished my centerpieces as of yesterday! Now I just need to do final touches on them and fix it up a bit. I have 9 lower and 5 tall ones.

No need to match metal colors, or style. I prefer to have tall vases the minority. You can see under them when seated. But often people put them on every table, or a few on every long refectory table, and they really obstruct the view when a person is standing, or when you are seated and there are 3 tall vases between you and a headless person giving a speech. Or the couple's sweetheart table is on a raised platform, and high vases block your sight line all night. And standing waitstaff cannot see seated people across a table. Nice flower arrangement!

Thank you. Yes, that is true. You don’t really see the top part but only the under lol...but they will be the minority! I’m just having like 5 places around the room for some depth and the rest lower centerpieces.
