Does his suit match my dress?

So my wedding is going to be pretty formal, it’s a micro wedding but I’m still wearing a ball gown dress and trying to make it feel formal. My fiancé has never bought a suit before so we went to buy one together, but now I’m worried his suit isn’t formal enough. It’s dark navy blue and he’ll wear a white shirt with a tie or bow tie and different shoes than what he’s wearing in the picture. Is this going to look totally mismatched? We don’t have it in our budget to buy another suit and I’m really worried now!
