Does Everything Move This Fast?

There's going to be periods where it feels like it is dragging and then times when you're wondering where the time went. Our wedding is exactly 5 months away and I feel like it's slow right now. But once we start getting closer, I'll be begging for time to slow down. Enjoy the down time when you can.

Thanks! I will for sure it makes me nervous already the come Sept./Oct everything possibly will be a whirlwind and being done a lot already I am just like ok I can enjoy this period.

We have a 3 year engagement and are down to our last year (well a little over a year)! We started booking everything within months of being engaged and now that we only have a year left I feel like that time flew by! We are planning on having everything done by the end of the year ( except alterations and those kind of things). Congrats! and good luck with everything!

OMG congrats - It's so crazy having everything planned so early but us as well. We plan to have everything besides minor details paid by the end of the year so next year is smooth sailing. But with the addition of house shopping I am like OMG this will be here before I realize.

It's good you are planning in advance. My 8 months out, we had every single vendor booked, invites done, save the dates sent out, etc. For me, being 8 months out to 4 months out moved SO SLOW. Then after that, it has moved quickly.

That's funny I think that's how I am feeling - its so slow but I am sure come Oct with home shopping and getting closer it will pick up. And finding a florist feels like the hardest challenge yet I think I give up once a month in my search lol

I'm sorry! That was one of our first vendors. Caterer and baker and officiant were really hard for us. I just focused on wedding wire & the knot reviews!

That's what happened to us we had everything done and we had a few down months to enjoy the engagment and it went fast we are getting married in August so now things picked back up with finalizing vendor payments dress and tux fittings and invites.

That just means you're super organized!

We're 6 months away and basically had everything lined up a month ago. We're going to enjoy our summer and pay towards balances then worry about final decisions in the fall.

That's exactly what I was trying to get too I don't want to stress all year. Rather have the knowledge to what I need to pay for and basically by next year only have minor expenses to cover.

You will hit a period probably this summer where you don’t do anything. It will be a nice break. It will pick back up at the 60 day mark.

Its so crazy to enjoy the break but at the same time you just want it come I think that's where I am currently its a slow period after being intense the last few months and I'm like March is so far away it feels.
