Does everyone else walk in with the same song

on May 7, 2019 at 12:18 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 13
When parents, grandparents, maids/groomsmen walk in, do they walk into the same song I walk into or a different one? What about the flower girl? I’m not sure what to do. What do you plan to do?

You can do it however you want. We plan to have one song for me and another song for the rest of the processional.

We are just using one song for everyone. It's really up to you.

It's totally your call. It depends on things like the size of your party, length of the aisle walk, etc. But for most weddings I've seen (as well as what I did) it was one song for the whole party attendants, flower girl, ring bearer, and including parents/grandparents. And then I had a song just for me and my dad.

That’s up to you. I have such a small WP that I am now considering only using one song for everyone to walk in to.

That's entirely up to you, there's no right or wrong. Since it won't take long for the moms to escorted, we decided to skip a song for them.

When my FH, his groomsmen, and the officiant (FH's best friend) come out, we're playing a song requested by my fiancé. (Still working on that btw haha).

When it's time for my bridesmaids, the kids, and myself to come down the aisle it will be to Clare de Lune.

You can do whatever makes you the happiest and most comfortable. For me, grandparents/FH parents/my brother and step mom are walking in before the music starts but then the whole wedding party including myself is walking into "Me and You" by Kenny Chesney.

That's totally a preference thing. For me, my mom requested a certain song be played somewhere, so I'm having the groomsmen walk out and the grandmothers and mothers be seated to one song, the bridesmaids, MOH, ring bearer and Flower girl to another song, and me to a 3rd song. But that's just the way it worked best for us. You can do whatever works best for you!

If you have a large party or a long aisle you can use different songs, but if it’s a short aisle or only a few people the same song is good. I’m a wedding violinist and I’ve found that having one song for parents and bridal party and then one song for the bride works well.

We have a small bridal party, just two bridesmaids and two groomsmen. We're not having our parents or grandparents in the processional so we decided to just use the same song for everyone (including when my son walks me down the aisle). We'll be walking down to Vitamin String Quartet version of Can't Help Falling In Love. It's totally up to you and the vision you have for your wedding! Smiley ring

Hi, you can do as you wish, but I believe the parents and other family members are one song, song changes for bridesmaid/groomsman and children and than a final change for you Smiley smile
